Vardus series from Wharfedale

Has anyone auditioned the Vardus series from Wharfedale.

They only have FS based 5.1 in India as under

Fronts: VR-300 - Rs15750
Centre: VR-C1 - Rs6600
Rear: VR-S1 - Rs5500
Sub: VR-300 - Rs16950

This is available as a package for around 37K. Any reviews or opinions on the above configuration. How do compare with Diamond 9, Polk TSi and Missions?

heard these in Mumbai. The answer depends on your budget really. When you listen to the Vardus fronts and the Diamond 9.5 / 9.6, obviously the Diamonds win out. But if you need to listen to music etc.. for only some time of the week and are not looking at investing much, then these are OK.

I found the Polk TSi series a bit too harsh. Havent heard the Missions.

The answer depends on your budget really.

Do not have a budget really. Just thinking of a set up in a second home. Was looking at options which would be cheap but better than sattelites/HTiBs. Pity they do not keep the bookshelves.

hi i heard this varuds. bass response not deep from vr 300 . clarity is good also upper mid.
