VFM 2 Channel System

Hi Guys

New a bit of advice
I want to Buy a system purely for Playing 320 KBPS MPs / Flac collection.

Currently I have

1. Xtreamer MK1 with 1*2 TB HDD
2. LG 50PK550 Plasma
3. Sony HTIB DZ550
4. Tata Sky HT
5. Harmony 525

Connections are as follows.

Xtreamer -> HDMI - > LG
Xtreamer -> Optical -> Sony HTIB

Tata Sky -> HDMI - > LG
Tata Sky -> RCA -> Sony HTIB

Now I want o go for purely 2 / 2.1 System
Not keen on BS since will have to pay for Stands.

Now the option that came out of goggling and reviews is as follows.

1. Cambridge Audio DacMagic

Not Keen on Maveric DAc or Bresford since CA has optical out that can go into SONY HTIB for my Movies HD audio

2. CA Azur 550A

Since 350A doesnt has a Sub pre out I went for NExt model for Future upgrade.

3. CA SL70

Best FS in CA category

Now can you advice me on more options if available

Like Marantz and Waferdale Combo
I want most VFM

My room size is 20 by 10

Bear in mind my location is Delhi and not much Options available for Auditioning.

Suggest any combo that is VFM.

(1) For DAC u can also check the Musical Fidelity - V-DAC (approx 19K, in US-$299)
(2) For the Int amp I got the CA Azur 650A (approx 34K)
(3) Speakers u can try KEF C7 (2way FS) or Monitor Audio M6 (3way FS) --- (approx 36K)

For 1 It doesn't has Optical out

For 2 Sure Thanks i now have a Quote

For 3 I know its subjective but how is the Sound Quality , I listen to Bollywood Music With Preference to Oldies.

I think the DAC magic cost 24K

I liked the sound quality of both KEF and MA M6. Chose the M6 as its a 3 ways FS (but a very recent lauch < 4 months).

Bear in mind my location is Delhi and not much Options available for Auditioning.

Why is this so? I am sure you can audition every product in Delhi if you are ready to travel across the city and visit dealers who carry the products.

Jatin, when you say CA has optical out, are you sure it will output 6 channel(or more) in digital form to your AVR, or will it give only 2 channel digital output?

Well CA manual Says that Optical will Decode only 2 Channel and In case it is 5.1 then it will pass it to my Sony HTIB.

Currently I dont have a AVR hence the issue of passing it to my HTIB.

Also CA has good reviews.
