Videocon d2h problems

Just now as I am watching tv, videocon d2h, goes blank and within half second or even less picture coming back again, this cycle is running 5-10 times continuous, on all channels, it doesn't affect sound at all, just picture, and after few seconds its ok too, then the cycle after sometime comes back and sometimes not

Is it satellite issue or stb issue, kindly notify who knows this problem

It Could be either due to 1) rain if its raining or 2) low quality HDMI cable which needs to be changed. Rest videocon users can confirm if its a general issue accross all.

That doesn't happen with my d2h. Get in touch with them I say. Fb or twitter is your fastest option.

Hi All,

Yesterday I bought the Videocon D2H with stb 2222. Looks it's one of the good option at the moment.

Ishaan, Yesterday and Today I experience the same issue as you have mentioned. But i could check with other channel at the same time, but in two channels it happened.

I need to check with this for next couple of days.

Same issue with Me, Have 2222 STB, Video goes blank, Audio does not get affected, Have to switch off & On the STB to get the video back.

Hi,

I noticed couple of problems from same STB are:

some time in HD channels when there is conversation is going on that will not be heard and only background can be here. As my wife noticed this in Colors Hd and I noticed the same issue in Zee Cinema HD.

the second issue is, I am able to get the Dolby sound from HDMI cable, but some time I get only the Stereo. Yesterday night in Movies Now, when the Anaconda movie played the audio was heard from only front speaker not the center speaker. But when today morning I checked the same channel for some other movie I was able to get the Dolby sound properly.

Did any body came across these problems?

I don't know guys but I recently shifted from Tata Sky SD to Videocon HD & I immediately see a perceptible difference in audio quality. In fact I'm looking for a good soundbar as we speak, because the sound from the same TV is not sounding enough. Most of the times its hollow.

Guys there is serious audio concerns with videocon d2h
I was using the earlier black color set top box which was working fine , so I ordered 2 add on connections.
The add on connections were activated with white color new hd box. This box was giving problem with sound some channels like zee and ten sports the voice was not clear. I had a long fight and follow up with the customer care team and got it swapped with black boxes.
The next day I observe the same problem with these boxes too however the earlier one was working fine.
The 2 new add on boxes have a latest firmware which is throwing poor sound and video quality as the issue seems to be with the sound card driver. However s2h support is long ready to listen to this as none of other subscriber are complaining about this.
However I am keeping the 2 set top boxes off and paying these buggers daily for subscription.

another stupid problem ,in stb

there is op-tion to have favorites channels to be assigned per user , 20 channels can be assigned by 1 user, in my profile i had assigned 20 channels ,but in that 3 channel slots and the channels are missing itself , without my dooing it , even they cannot be added again because the 20 slots are now turned to 17 slots only.

i can access chennels by remembering their actual channel number only , anybody has this issue ? any remedy for this shitty problem??

Had Videocon increased prices. A month back they were offering free hd stb with annual subscription for platinum pack.Now quoing 7200/- hd box with usb recording..

How can we escalate the support issues
All time I call it lands up to an outsource company who will just promise to provide support.
D2h is really a piece of shit I have paid advance for an year and no one is ready to support in the sound issues.
