i had an old ibm t42 thinkpad, which simply didn't boot. it originally had windows xp on it.
i found a disk with windows vista and so i booted the machine with this disc and so got it up and running.
i don't remember the configuration as it was originally.
then today i checked hard disk space and found that it had like 70 odd gb on it. then i rebooted the machine and now it is showing C:\ as 30 gb!
not sure whats happening. appreciate any insights.
