WiFi Media Players and NAS

I don't really believe in NAS: I could 5 to 10 Tb in my PC case! Of curse, as a file server it also available to anything else on my network

People do not always buy a NAS so that it only gives them network access. A NAS offers other features like partial multi-disk mirroring and remaining disk spaces to be arranged sequentially and all transparent to the users who access it. So important files can be automatically backed up. A NAS having a very light weight OS takes minimal time to boot up and down. Also the NAS can be configured to automatically download torrents, which otherwise you would have to do with a PC with 90% components of it consuming standby power.
