XBMC Live TV PVR

Hello,

Does anybody have any idea about setting up Live TV PVR functionality on XBMC.

I have local cable connection with Cisco (DVB-3410) set top box and HTPC running OpenElec (3.2.2) from thumb drive.

I love the EPG feature way better that boring STB interface.

I think it is already discussed in the forum that the Indian cable providers set top boxes are encrypted and you cannot use the other equipment to get the signals. So the XBMC PVR functions cannot be configured using any TV Tuner cards in a PC.

you are right. but we may be able use this function once we have DVB-T channels available in India everywhere. i read some where that some of the DD channels are available in metro cities.
