You won't get Yamaha 671 for 25K. Other models to look for are Yamaha 371 and Denon 1312. Yamaha 371 is available in ebay for 18K with bill and warranty.

yamaha 371 is available at Reliance Digital for 20k last week. Hence AV stores should be selling it for less.
1. the sound signature depends on speakers and amp/AVR. Further, music or movies ... the speakers play a major role and not just AVR.
2. If it is mostly music I would recommend stereo + good speakers than AVR + existing speakers.
3. For the 25k budget I would suggest you to try a resale stereo amp around 10k. Park 15k and save more to it and buy a good pair of speakers.

If you have decided to buy only AVR, I strongly suggest you to audition it with your speakers.

tnx for ur reply
I LIKE HEARING THE MUSIC IN 5.1 ONLY.SO STEREO AMP IS ADVISABLE OR NOT

MY IDEA

IN FUTURE ALL ARE IN NETWORK ONLY. SO YAMAHA RX-671 IS BETTER OR NOT
KINDLY REPLY

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
