hi,
I am in a situation wherein i need to either have a)
the DVD near to the Projector ( shorter video cable longer audio cable )
or
b)have DVD near the AVR ( so longer video cable and shorter audio cable )
So
1 ) Either i have to have a Digital coax cable which runs from my DVD to the AVR - For option a
2 ) Or have Component cables from projector to the DVD which is near the DVR as per option b
The distance from Projector to AvR is about 20 ft .
So from a performance audio/video perspective which is better option . Accordingly i will purchase either 20 ft coax or composite video
From a setup perspective ( less risky ) i would like to go with longer coax cable as the cable will be connected to the DVD ( rather than Projector ) so even if someone stubmles the cable ..its relatively safe
