Some Observations.
UMC1: There is absolutely no audio Drop , no center channel drop. Audio Quality is superb. Only fault is that when I forward or rewind from Xtreamer, it takes some moments to lock onto Audio , Which is a little irritant, Otherwise if you are watching movies in one go it poses no issues. EMO-Q is spot on and sets speaker distance and corssover perfectly but only sub distance is little off, that can be set manually or can be left at that.
Audio: Since there is something that needs burn in I dont know which one UMC/XPA/Speakers or Wire for that matter but sound is improving day by day. . Especially 2 channel music, ie my FLAC collection has come to life. Even FM sounds excellent.
But now the Neighbors have started complaining that sound is too much especially at night
I especially like Video Songs of Hindi Movies and slowly have a collection of HD with DD or DTS songs. For some songs I fell like getting immersed in music and completely get lost in the song. I like it ......
For Movies its good too but let me post some impressios woth Loss less tracks.
Casino Royale was excellent but I am not so impressed with TDK, The track there is DD tru HD and is at less than 2 MBps, Has any one else noticed it, It lacks the Punch thereof but is better than DD in my HD Rip.
I did some tinkering and got the sample for DTS-MA clip for Transformers, The MKV didn't played but I converted it to m2ts and it played perfectly well on my Sony Blu - ray player via USB Pen-drive. The clip was only 100 MB on FAT32 but Since Sony now supports NTFS, I am Downloading DTS-MA Movie of transformer. So it should play it well.
Now I don't need to buy any new Media Player since all Loss less movies will now be played on Sony Blu-ray, In 8 K I got the Blu-Ray player as well as a good mediaplayer for Lossless audio. I am happy
