8 Year Old Tannoy XT6F

Nice! Glad that you got yourself quite an upgrade and to be honest at today's standards, it is a steal of a deal. These are very transparent speakers, take care and love them properly. Pair them with warmish neutral equipment, I do not know what exactly you prefer but since you have the QA3050, I would imagine you lean toward the warm side, well from South India as well so makes sense, lol.

I used to own the Tannoy DC 6TSE, which are in a way earlier incarnations of the XT series, I have since moved on to better and more capable speakers but I still miss that point source transparency of the Tannoys, ahhh....when done right, it is to die for.
Thinking of getting either Arcam Radia A5 or Musical Fidelity B1X1. Anything else I should look into ? Budget approx 1l. Okay with preloved separates also if that helps.

Take a look here

I have a Tannoy Definition DC8 and it has very good synergy with the Cambridge Audio CXA81. Check with others but the Cambridge sound might be right up your alley, especially if you enjoy a rich exciting presentation. It has a very different presentation to the NR1200 but pairs well with most speakers, especially british makes.

Consider the Acoustic Portrait Swara V2- Integrated Amplifier too. It is a purist design with no additional features. I have owned AP gear before and they sound outstanding. Just for context, before I moved to AP, I owned Odyssey stratos power ampliifier and preamp. But I had moved to the Thiyaga line which is a step above the Swara line from AP. I have heard the Swara amps and they are very similar in terms of tone and resolving capability, The Thiyaga line has more power and takes it to the next level. Worth checking before you plonk your money into a new low- mid level imported amplifier.

If buying imported gear, consider the Rega Brio MK7.

O&B may also be a good option for outstanding sound. I have never heard them though.

Tannoys are generally bright (what is also called as rich , exciting etc) , so go for some amp which is either neutral or warm - Otherwise you will end up with a fatiguing sound . Also buy a amp and use it for few months before selling your speakers

I have not heard either of these personally myself but I have the Musical Fidelity A5, an old amp but still is going strong and it had great authority with my Tannoys. But I mostly played it with PM8005 and that was a good combination too, look at the current Rega Brio, that maybe something that fits this situation like a glove.
I do not know how large is your listening area, in my experience the Tannoys did not need large amounts of power but each component in the chain revealed something with the Tannoys.
Since you are using the NR1200, I am assuming it is being used as an All in one solution, it has Pre outs, it may be a good idea to add a power amp for now and move to separates in future. There is a Parasound A23 for sale in the forum, an inquiry may be in order.

Tannoys are bright if your amp is bright. It will throw any issues in the amp on your face. Put a nice amp and you will be rewarded.

I am talking about the heritage series. No idea of the more modern voiced slim towers.
