Sorry for the late entry. Although the reason is not what some would imagine after viewing the pics. I was busy whole day following some ALTEC and TANNOY GOLD. Got the Altec and missed the TANNOYS.
The Amphion meet - what a great experience!!. Thanks Denom for arranging it.
Khushru and his better half's hospitality was wonderful.
As soon as i reached at around 12.30, i was handed a mug full of brown juice.
My parched throat gulped it down to get relief from the hot Mumbai sun. After 2-3 mugs i felt relaxed. What juice was it?

The music was already on. The wonderful view of the 'ARABIAN' sea (million dollar view), the juice, the soothing music coming from the Amphion mini speakers all made me push back in to the sofa and relax.
Our FMs were taking the 'MAZZA' of the
sweet spot one by one. Some good modern music was flowing from the speakers. Introductions and chit chat with fellow FMs continued side by side.
Then lunch was offered. The delicious chicken curry ( what a recipe!!) reminded me of my elder sister's culinary magic. Even the simple 'DAAL' was so tasty. The 'BHINDI & ALOO" was a new combination for me.
Finally the dessert "DUM KI SEVIYAN" took me back to my childhood and my mother's cooking.( The yummy aroma and taste of the finest 'Ghee').
I will remember this lunch for a long time. Thanks, Mrs. Khushru!!.
Then the 'AMPHION FS' demo started.
After some time, suddenly one of my fav songs started playing. I ran to the sweet spot. The music flowed around me. Although i am a vintage speakers lover, i was caught by the speed, and crystal clear highs of these sleek beauties. Even though the hall was very big and side walls were very far, the sound stage and the bass production was quite admirable.
I can't write a very detailed technical review as i am not technical analyst. That i leave to the experts.
It was a Sunday well spent. Loved meeting the fellow FMs. Thanks once again to Denom and KJ.
regards.

PS no 1 :- Don't go by the gray in what is left of my crowning glory, i feel i am the youngest of the lot.

Ps no 2 :- As 'Bhagwan' mentioned, the "pudhina chai" was heavenly.
ps no 3:- The review will be incomplete if i don't mention 'MAGMA's beautifully finished "Audio Rack" and speaker stand. The wood and it's finishing is comparable to the finest imported ones.
