Are you ready for 2nd Mumbai Meet 2010?

Hi friends,

Its more than 6 since we had a meet last time(9th May,2010).

Now perhaps its time to meet again with new Mission.Rain is almost off & December can be good month to meet.We did musical stuff comparison last time & now its time for some HT work out.
For that we may need a Bluray player,Some AVRs & speaker packages.
Speakers can be only Fronts & Centre.I have Bluray HTPC & can be compared with a Bluray player.Even Tannoy Fronts & centre.

So please put your inputs & help to decide How.Vinay has offered his place & can be ideal for HT evaluation.If you have any other interest(CDP compare or other)pls.post here.

So lets hope to meet either on 12/12/2010 OR 19/12/2010 & have lot of fun.
(Thursday is my free day though)

As of now both 12 and 19 work for me. And I'm willing to come anywhere in Mumbai for the meet.

I can bring Yamaha V1500 AVR and Marantz PM5003 integrated (if we are doing 2ch) along.

Vinay has Denon,but lacks HD-audio.We can compare my HTPC with Denon connecting 5.1ch ana of my Xonar.

Sure, Spiro. You'll have it. However, I hope you know what you need is there in the V1500. It's more than 3 months I bought it, but I haven't even got time to see what's inside. It has just replaced the PM5003 (lying in the box now) for 2ch use. I know one thing for sure that the V1500 doesn't have any HDMI ports.

I could get my sony bdp370) and /or denon 1611.

if there some htpc stuff going on I could get a nvidia 9400 and GT240 GC. to do a picture comparo with your ati. nothing thing else I own is really movable.

I've met most of you seperately, it's nice to meet all of you guys together.

@Bizarre- the RX-V1500 does not do HD audio. but you should bring it along anyway.. it'll be nice to see it (and hear it) again.

my two pence goes for video source.. I have a pretty good collection of BDs as well, which we can throw into the mix. but that would need vinay's projector to be ready and fitted. also i can bring my xtreamer pro

for ht amps - you'd need to plan a bit more, since most are really heavy to lug around.

Am not able to commit anything now on the dates front right now, but would surely like to meet you all & of course experience Vinay's HT set-up/
Since have nothing to contribute on the HT equipment front, I shall be arriving empty handed, if that is OK with you all.

I was keen to be at the 2nd meet, however some factors prevent me from being there now. I hope I can make it for the 3rd meet.

Hi friends, I think we may need a good group to judge & its not necessary that everyone should bring the stuff.We also need a good comparison & so needs few but better items which can help others too.As kapvin sayed,BD source comparison can be good think to do & we have already few offerings.say-
1.Kapvin Sony BDP
2.My ATI HTP + Kapvin nvidia cards.
3.Reju can bring LG BDp
4.Xstremer,WD...

What we may need is HD-AVR.
So pls.input your thoughts.
