AudioEngine A2 Dead please help

Well I purchased mine in 2008 so I guess they would chase me away if I asked for a replacement :lol: will check with them if they can repair it though

Audioengine products are supposed to have 3 year warranty.

^^ They (bajaao.com) don't honor that in India. They only give us a 1 year warranty in India.

Took my a2 speakers to Nepal, they got played 20 hours a day by random mp3 players, possibly some outputting clipped signal running full volume on the mp3/speakers, this was an outdoor setting. On the last day of the trip they gave up, one of the cones has a tear.

Luckily audio engine has a great customer service, bajaao is replacing them.
These speakers are not like Logitech speakers which I've seen don't sound half as good but can sure take some abuse.

Just received a brand new replacement set from bajaao and all is well.

I'm facing the exact same issue with torn woofer lining. What did you do about it??

I had purchased them in the US 4 years ago. I contacted audioengine and they redirected me to re-seller pristine-note mumbai, who flatly refused any service.

I'm not sure what to do now
