AV Dilemma

Been reading the forums and am sure the AV Dilemma topic is not new, however wanted to know what you folks feel about the following AVs and which one should go for -

1) Pioneer 922
2) Denon 1913/1713

Planning to couple this with 5.1 Package of Wharfs or Paradigm.
Room is a 12 by 15. Dont have space for floor standing/ towers.

have a few recommendations from few on Yamaha Onkyo & Denon.. with polk paradigm and polk so dilemma exists and confusion persists.

Appreciate opinions and help here. Thanks.

I'm also from Delhi and planning a purchase..what's ur room size? Budget?

I also short listed Pioneer 922 and Denon 1713. I prefer the 922. It is for 35k and Denon for 30k.

Room size is 12 by 15.
922 is advisably preferred too. getting it at 37K. denon is 30k.
Budget have not defined yet
Speaker package is recommended as wharfs dx1 package. getting it around 40k.

I have chosen Energy RC Micro or ELAC Starlet. They are much better than the Wharf's I guess...not too many reverts on my query!!!

Pioneer will sound more detailed & opened than Denon,something which can sound better with movies & music too.
