Best ever deal for loudspeaker kits.

I meant since there is only one kit available for the servo + dual woofer, will it be available in the future too?

There will be a dual woofer and single amp version available again later one, but the woofers will all be the 4 ohm SW-12-04 woofers and the amps will be modular allowing multiple channels to be added. So each woofer gets its own amp channel driving it. It will have one mounting plate for the control system that controls both amp channels and woofers.

PS: im not here to spoil the party
with that outta the way

we had this subwoofer driver (SW-12B) discussed sometime back, for it having a foam surround & the environment here being non conducive to the driver

dont see anyone discussin that fact here so dropped some info...just to help..

besta luk to all u nice ppl

The foam surround isn't like the foams of old that dry out and fall apart. This foam is resistant to humidity and will out live all of us.

Hello Danny,

Is there sonic cap, inductor and resistor upgrade for X-CS Encore? Can you specify the cost of the same? How do the X-CS Encore with upgrades compare with A/V-3S?

Thanks

Thanks Danny. Will the two different subs match each other well? Any timeframe in mind of the new kit?

Because the X-CS uses a higher order crossover on the tweeter (more caps). So the Sonicap upgrade for a single speaker is $67.15 and Mills resistors are $9.80

That puts them right up there with the A/V-3S using the same parts and even edged it out in the high frequency range with that Peerless Tweeter.

Ouch. Which are the speakers that needs to be coated and which are the ones we can do away with.

Your front three are primary.

For the sub and wall mounted surrounds you could consider laying in industrial floor tiles to help dampen the walls of the cabinet, but I am not sure what is available over there. You guys have a Lowe's or Home Depot over there? ;)

Thanks Dannie, this puts this issue to rest

Guys , i have checked with Srikanth(soundsgreat) as well , who also said this is a non issue

How much norez required for the fronts and center boxes?

I am withdrawing my name from the list for sub.
