Hi, I am looking for recommendations for a good pair of floorstanding speakers for around Rs 50,000. I will be pairing with my Marantz PM7005 amp. Main source is Vinyl (Rega P3-24) and CD (Advance Acoustic), and TV. Currently am using bookshelf speakers Dynaudio BM6, but looking to move into Floorstanders. Recommendations appreciated! Also, any place in Mumbai (South) where I can have a demo would be great. Thanks!

I've heard Fyne Audio towers paired with a Marantz amp - think it was a PM6006. Sounded very good together with a TT as the source. Should be easy to audition in Mumbai - I know the revolver club sells them. I think the FN302s are under 50k

With little elevated budget you may get Q Acoustic 3050i speaker. Great match with Marantz amplifier for musical experience. Between 50 - 70k mark you may have wide choice for FS speakers from Polk to Paradigm . Most of them match very well with Marantz amplifier. Audition is must and here in South Mumbai we have lots of choices for audition like Total Home Theater, Fairdeal Electronics, HiFi Mart, Designer Audio etc...

I have used a pair of Taga Harmony Azure F100 and now with the Platinum F100 along with a Marantz 6013. Both are excellent and highly VFM. The platinum might set you back around ~60k and sound way above their price range. Try getting their demo, if you can.

Pioneer FS52 has very good reviews and costs way lesser then your budget 50K. It should be available for 30K.Polk s 55 should be available for 50k with discounts.
Just my opinion but I do not think you will get the improvement you are looking for going from a Dynaudio monitor to Floorstanders within 50K.
For proper sonic improvement and something that gives you perceivable upgrade you will need to stretch your budget a bit.
Or another approach is to look for used speakers, if you are patient and lucky, some real gems can be had for a bargain.

I'm leaning toward the Pioneer's but am unable to find anyplace in Mumbai which has them set up for demo.

Floor stander in this budget, I've a feeling you'll go back running to your Dynas.
You'll get great displacement with floorstanders, no doubt, but most likely the midrange won't be the best.
How about you just add an amazing subwoofer like a Rythmik to complement your Dynas? IMO this will give you a much better sonic wholesomeness!
There are quite a few over OLX if that works for you...audition in person and decide....

One of my Dyna's is pretty much dead, so hence the switch. I bought them used anyway and they are pretty worn - paid around 22k for them I think a few years ago.

50k is very good budget for quality pre owned floor standing speakers. You can float the requirements in wanted section. Till that audition speakers within your budget. We have lot more shops in Mumbai. You can also request for demo, open box and discontinued units from dealers. You may get very good discount with regular warranty. But you need to take effort for that. Recently MZ Audio, Bandra had listed their such equipment with great prices. You may contact them. If you invest time in your purchase, you may get great deal within you budget.
