Buy Latest Dated Blurays

Yesterday I had been to the Phoenix Market City to pickup some HDMI cables and Killzone3 3D PS3 Game Bluray.

There are 3 shops in the mall where we can get the PS3 Blurays -
1. Reliance Digital
2. Reliance Timeout
3. COMPLETE ENTERTAINMENT EXCHANGE (CEX)

I spent some time to explore the offers and costing at all three places.

1. Reliance Digital had the old stocks and the Killzone disc was costing 2.5k
2. Reliance Timeout had fresh stock, the Killzone (Feb2012) was costing 1.5k
3. CEX had a used one which they had priced 2k

Finally got it from Reliance Timeout for 1.5k :yahoo:

I was thinking the CEX would be cheaper. Some time back I paid Rs.500 for a bollywood bluray with the original price labelled 1k, then I relised the latest release was only Rs.599/-

Since the Bluray prices are coming down, we need to check the latest import/manufacture date before buying.

So true (even with PC games). I ordered a game with Flipkart few months back, the site showed old price with 48% discount, but once it arrived I realized the MRP on it was same as what I paid (as it was fresh stock). So it is misleading.

local BDr are way cheaper ..
