Can the 1080i upscaler within TATA SKY HD be disabled...

Hi All,

I have recently purchased a TATA SKY HD STB. It seems to me that the HD STB upscales the SD channels to 1080i. Is there anyway i could disable the upscaler within the HD STB.

I have a Denon AVR which upscaled my TATA SKY+ (through a high end component cable) signal to 1080p and the output is significantly better than the TATA SKY HD upscaled signal.

No. Unfortunately there is no way to turn off the internal upscaling of the set-top box.
