Charlie Haden, bassist and jazzman par extraordinaire, passed away a few hours back.

I started really enjoying jazz only from the time I discovered Charlie Haden's music a few years ago. His music is still my top go-to when I want to listen to some jazz. His "The Private Collections" and "Closeness Duets" still get played at least thrice a week.

RIP Charlie! You will live on through your music.
