Screen. Will do it after sometime during next round of holidays !!
Till than I will use Safed Chaddar for my Heroine ;)

safed chaddar wont be good.
a white wall is best and cheapest i think.its solid, non wavey, colours are extremely close to a branded mid priced 1 gain screen
max 1.5k-2k will be spent including white paint, wall flatness preparation, border preparation, proffessional help
you can add a bit black to make it gray for better percived contrast and deep colour as 8100/6100 is quite powerful so less than 1 gain wont be a problem for say 120 inch in a dark room

Excellent Set up Swamy. Mine is not a dedicated HT room. Its in master bedroom.

Right Dada. Issue with me is that LCD in mounted at the middle of the wall and so dont have space for even 90" projection. So have to something which fall right in front of the LCD to use projection. Till the time I dont hv the screen what can be a better replacement than a white bedsheet ?

ah ok..lcd panel is there..well in that case..
1.use bed sheet as stop gap solution
2.check if possible to chenge the position of the lcd to the adjacent walls..

i recommendation the Benq w1070. first, i am familiar with it and you can easily find the accessories for it cause there are many thread about the compatible 3D glasses about it.

Thanks in advance.

What about Liberty / grandview / login Dada ? They are available off the shelf / low priced

I have been having good exp with Liberty Grandview. Great build quality, thick material, no waves abnormalities. I hear it is the Grandview screen that is rebranded in India. Got 120" manual pull down instalock for 13.5 K. There are cheaper Liberty screens too.

Some one talked about Pioneer Screen in one of the forum !! Any idea about the sane

I am the one who has suggested Pioneer Screens from time to time. I have seen Pioneer & Grandview side by side & failed to find any diff between the screen material... Also my Uncle rents out DJ equipments in Mumbai & he was the one who suggested Pioneer screens to me. The main reason for it was that pioneer uses mostly metal internal parts while other brands like grandview use plastic parts... My uncle uses them commercially so durability is a big priority for them... Another reason I am leaning towards Pioneer was that they can custom build the size I want(my dad wants 170-180 inches motorized)...Plus they have a very VFM price structure... like when I enquired you could get a 120inch motorized for about 11-12k which I thought was an amazing vfm proposition...

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
