Connecting Realtek HD output to Onkyo 609

I'm trying to get the best sound output with this combination. Issue is the Realtek has only analog output for 7.1 which unfortunately is not available on the 609. Realtek does have a Digital Coax Out which gives SPDIF output.

Any suggestions on the additional software/settings on the PC, that I can use to get the best sound output from the Realtek sound card to the 609?

Connect coaxial OUT from PC to coaxial IN in Onkyo609 and bitstream.
The caveat is, you will be limited to lossy multichannel (no HD audio)
Audio bitstream options will depend on the player that you use and the OS.
