Friends,
When I played few downloaded torrent movies through my XMP , I got an error GMC (Global Motion Compensation) not supported and then the audio and the video is freezed.
The same movie plays well via VLC in my Laptop. How good it will be if one can identify such problems before downloading a movie.
Seems like, I need to use some kind of converter program to re encode the movie into correct DivX format.
To see my movies in my Nokia 5800, I use a converter program called Super to convert avi to mp4.
Any suggestion as to what I should convert to avoid this error in my XMP will be much appreciated?

Thanks,
ranga.

Yep the xtreamer and most of the other media players don't support GMC.
...
most of the releaser's provide video info along with their releases, just make sure they've specified GMC=0 ... infact most of the popular relesae groups don't use GMC at all.
If that is the case, do we have any option to convert such files into suitable format?
