Finally Got SUB within budget

Hi all

I got Boston SUB(12 inch).
It perfectly blends while listening to songs and even movies
But my concern is at some frequencies it produces boom.
My room is not an acoustic treated room and an L shaped room
I observed the Decay problem too.(Decay take long time) is this becoz of the sitting near to sub?
Please help me out.

The generated wave will have time to fadeout(decay or die). If the decay time is more u will get a feeling like it is disturbing other wave signal.
