I have used the Cool water, Oceanic edition and it is good. The fragrance is mild, not over powering & remains for approx 5 to 7 hours.

5 to 7 hours is nice

Nyka sells authentic perfumes. The perfume needs to settle down for atleast a week. The molecules in perfumes get disturbed due to transit heat and hence may not perform for few days. Coolwater intense has a very good projection and performance. Let it macerate for few in the cupboard.

I have used Davidoff Cool Water and Cool Water Intense both, does not last long in Indian weather. You may try Azzaro - too good, for morning and office wear Azzaro chrome is superb

Davidoff will not last long. You can also check whether you are going noseblind or not. Ask someone else if they can smell the perfume.

Keep a 5/10ml decant with you to respray after 3-4 hours. Most perfume don't last long in indian high heat. Then skin chemistry plays a vital role in longevity. Same perfume will behave differently on different skins.

Best way to check is to spray on fabric, and revisit it the following day...You'll be, surprised how our nose gets adjusted to smell

Some compounds used in fragrance making have a tendency to noseblind you. After 20-30 minutes you won't smell it. Ambroxan is pretty notorious for it, (used in Suavage/Explorer). Sometimes though, perfumes perform don't perform also.

Currently, I'm using the following perfumes listed below. They are not expensive and serve their purpose, but they only last about 3-4 hours. If you could suggest something that lasts 7-8 hours, that would be wonderful.

• Sergio Tacchini (Eau de Parfum)
• Lattafa Khamrah (Eau de Parfum)

I really like Zara Tobacco, which is very affordable, and I also enjoy Sergio Tacchini. If you can recommend something similar, that would be great. Please suggest options under 4k-10k.

they last a day normally. However to me what I feel more valuable is how evenly they fade. Perfumes are mixtures of several ingredients, each of them can have a different lasting time. Some poorly made perfumes, when we spray have a very nice note but over few hours one or more key ingredients fades away and then we are left with the residual ingredients smell. Sometimes it can be a good thing, sometimes it can be bad.

Apart from aging daily, if we don’t use it, over the period of a year some ingredients die off and we are left with a totally different smell than we enjoyed when we bought it. So manufacturing date is important when it comes to pefumes.


All these 3 I mentioned are consistent but not very expensive. They can be had in large bottles of 100ml and you can respray generously. However end of the day, they all last a day.
