I will be going to Tokyo for a 4 day visit starting Dec 19th. Where can I buy any of the below projectors apart from Akihabara? I understand that most projectors sold in Japan have Japanese only menus to discourage buying / importing from Japan to US as it is about 40% cheaper than in US.
I am looking for a 1080p projector that works on universal voltage, English menu and preferably Indian warranty.
The projectors I have shortlisted are:
Mitsubishi HC4000
Epson Powerlite Home Cinema 8350
Epson Home Cinema 8700 UB
I understand that the stores in Akihabara sell duty free. Does buying in Duty Free stores really mean that I will not be stopped by the customs in India? Are duty free stuffs exempt from luggage weight limitation? Do I need to fill any forms to ensure that I do not have hassles at the Airport?
