Hi,
This is a complaint about GOSF online shopping festival hosted by Google in India.
A site called Zensaar.com claims that there is an offer as stated below on Shop the deals | GOSF 2013, electronics section.
"THE DEAL
RS 2,500 OFF ALL AUDIO VIDEO UNITS
THE DETAILS
Get Rs 2500 off all polk audio speakers, denon av recievers & home theatre systems. Zansaar is the authorized online dealer for Polk & Denon products"
But when I visit the site and see that there is no such offer running on any AV recievers, I had a chat (provided in their website) with customer support today(13-Dec-2013). And the CC named "tarunkumar" says it is a technical error and the deal is only applicable to specific products. And when I asked him which specific products, he says except AV receivers, everything falls under that offer.
This is really misleading an he (Zensaar.com) wants to encash this GOSF opportunity by having false offers on gosf.in. This isn't fair. How can a website claim false deal as an offer in gosf.in? And it is clear that he is just driving traffic to their website by cheating people.
This is to let people be aware of what some vendors are doing to drive traffic by cheating people.
