cheers..!!

If you are into music, then look for a stereo amp+ speaker setup. As mentioned above, what is your budget?

try with one multi channel amp from craftel and the pairing package, provided u take care of signal decoding at your player end....

Thank you folks, however, given that I have a limited amount of budget and the fact that I do like the convenience of an all-in-one home theatre system, I am seriously considering the Pioneer HTZ606BD Blu ray model over pansonic PT580.

The panasonic model has the ARC function and doesn't require additional optical cable running from the TV to HT but the problem comes in when we introduce a BDplayer, looks like the optical cable does not decode the DTS. whereas for the pioneer one it a BD player and need to have a separate optical cable running from TV to HT to carry the audio return channel and it play pretty much every thing.

I know there will be a difference in sound quality with a dedicated receiver and set of speakers with these HT's but how much of a difference are we talking about? Assuming I do go down the all-in-one home theatre path general thoughts on the above system pioneer/panasonic or any other model?

BTW, this HT will be hooked to Sony/Samsung 32/40". Does the Sony KDL 32/40Cx520 comes with digital audio output as optical one?
