Hello everyone,

I don't know how relevant my question is, but here it goes. I have an audio system consisting of a turntable, an external preamplifier, a Denon AVCS670h AV receiver, a Technics SUX120 amplifier, and Mitsubishi Diatone DS32B speakers. I currently use the turntable in a (TT > PreAmp > AVR) configuration because it's much simpler to get the sound from both the TV and the turntable through the same speakers. However, I would like to know if it is possible to connect everything in a (TT > PreAmp > AMP > AVR) configuration using the Denon in pure direct mode. If so, what connections would be required and what would be the implications in terms of watts and impedance (the Technics amplifier is rated at 8 ohms, the Denon at 4-16 ohms, and the speakers at 4 ohms)? In a possible (TT > PreAmp > Amp > AVR > Sp) configuration, would it be possible to transmit the sound at 4 ohms to the speakers if the Denon can handle 4 ohms?

Thank you for your help!
