I sometimes use my logitech M305 wireless mouse & it works pretty fine. I havent tried out any 3D with mp4 format yet, but I think it can be setting problem. You need to check 3D setting of the TV & also the player.

someone pls help ! even at full volume of the player (900B), am hearing low sound output. have to jack up the 5.1 system's volume to almost full to be able to hear the dialogues (the other sound-effects are loud enough). this wasnt a problem with my PS3. could somebody pls post his 'audio' settings in the 900B ?!

Is it happening for all clips , movies and music that you play or only to a certain file. You may want to check the source. Mine are all raw with volume 31 on himedia.

hehe....but it was happening on stock FW too.....but still, i think i will revert to stock FW and check again. no, but i know it wont help :(

only the dialogues sound low, rest effects rattle the hall. becomes a pain to reduce volume in an explosion-scene (due to grandparents :annoyed: ) and turn up again to listen to dialogues.

Help, HiMedia 900b has no problems to connect to wifi network, see the PC but it asks me to enter login and password that I do not know, I use windows xp, but I have neither.
Thank you

I was not able to get a wifi connection running stable since I have the HD900B.
The unit finds my router as an access point (most of the time). Then when I enter the passwort, the network test is running and as a result, it is said that the connection is alright.
However, the connection breaks down all the time. Sometimes I can get on the internet via the browser, but most of the time I get an error message.
The wifi symbol on the display is on, but I just cant get a wifi connection. Whenever I check the "network information" in the settings menu, nothing is filled out except the MAC addresses for LAN and WLAN.

have yoyu hooked ur himedia to an AVR, if thats the case then you can very well increase the source to 6-8 db and then increase the center channel to get the dialogue

I am on beta firmware and volume is never an issue, ita like my bluray player, I have hooked with my denon 1312

Another new thing noticed. When I connect to shoutcast radio and play music my internet jams up on other machines and some sort of lock between router and himedia ... (only the two are listening to each other)....

well I dont use this app and the firmware seems still very buggy, hopefully they release a better one soon

thanks, but no AVR here. let me try working up on a solution. if successful, will tell you all.

if you are not using a AVR then it will be difficult to tell if your 5.1 system is really decoding 5.1 channel of just 2 channels

are you using HDMI to hook himedia with ur 5.1 system ? even for this case you need to make sure ur system is processing and giving output to all 5 channels and check any setting to increase center channel volume in ur system that will solve ur dialogue problem for sure

the 900B is connected to the sub of the 5.1 speakers through component audio out cables. no other connection. all settings like choosing the no. of channels, sound output mode, etc. are all there on the remote of the 5.1 itself. increasing the vol. of the center channel to max. helps a bit, but not much.

do you mean you used the 2 audio cables (typically red and white) to connect ur himedia and 5.1 system ?
