Hi All,

This is a first post to this group , even if i was following this for the last 3 month..

Requirement AVR+ 5.1 Speakers
Will Be connected to TV 42 inches

I like to set up a HT Up to a budget of 50000 - 60000 Max (if really it worth little extra)
I came across some models , but i was unable to conclude any ..

ONKYO - HT-S3700 - 33000/-
ONKYO - HT-S5700 - 55000/-
YAMAHA - YHT-2910 - 40000/-
YAMAHA - YHT-1810 - 30000/-
Herman AVR 70 + JBL 300 = 30000+25000
Denon 500 + Boston Speakers
any other suggestions also welcome

Please guide me to create my world in my home ..

My choice would be onkyo ht-s5700. Has a good set of features and bells and whistles which is offered by none at the said price. To add to it, it also comes with a 10inch subwoofer.

Make sure you opt for the AVR which has calibration capabilities, it makes a huge difference. ONKYO - HT-S5700 looks like a good choice on paper.

Sound is good according to individual taste. Some may love heavy bass, some may love midrange vocals, some may love highs.

Yamaha / Marantz have very soft sound.
Sony / Pioneer / Denon have very brittle sound.

I strongly suggest while you to take demos, listen to same song/movie clip, and let your ears judge the difference.
