Huge discounts on some AVRs in US..??

I was just browsing Amazon and came across some really big discount on AVRs.

Onkyo TX-NR616 - $355

Denon 1913 - $394

Denon 1912 - $378

[Although not on my list but the prices seem interesting/tempting ]

Would like to hear your thoughts!

Would like to know if these deals make sense.
BTW have heard some AVRs come with the switch to convert the power rating.

BTW are there also any such deals on amazon uk?

Any AVRS which is with hefty discount does not ship to India from Amazon. Only few entry level or high end avrs come with the switch power option. Most midrange are specific to U.S. voltage. Considering the hdmi issues and other problems , better to buy AVRs locally unless it is available for 40% or less total door to door.

Actually I have a friend of mine coming back from US soon. So query was posted from that context. I did not want to trouble him considering the weight of the AVR. Just wanted to know if it is really worth it

I saw an onkyo tx-nr509 for 150$ few days back. Definitely worth carrying under 10k..
