Is it time for another DIY workshop in Bangalore?

What will be the agenda? This is first time for me in DIY, so I don't know what to expect and what not! But It will be am oppurtunity to meet hifiians!

GeorgeO, Anilva and I met up today at my place and finalised the agenda for the meet. Below are the details:

Date: 15 July 2012
10:00 to 10:30 - Presentation on Room Measurement by Anutone
10:30 to 11:00 - Session on soldering/desoldering etc by Philip Isaacs
11:00 to 11:30 - Tea & networking
11:30 to 12:15 - Turn Table basics and demo on alignment by Stevieboy [TBC] & Santhosh
12:15 to 13:00 - Session on Driver selection based on TS parameters & design by t.anthony
13:15 to 14:00 - Lunch & networking
14:30 onwards - Wood working session at thatguy's friend's place (Tentative, approx 1 hr)



In addition to the session on room measurement, Anutone has kindly offered us space for the event and also sponsored our lunch. So thanks raghumailbox & Anutone for this.

We felt an important part of these workshops is for participants to also meet and put a name to a face, and some time is needed for both to register.

As we come closer to the date, we will ask participants to indicate their interest in joining for lunch so that we can give an indicative number to our hosts Anutone in good time.

The workshop has been structured in a way that allows people with other commitments on Sunday to leave after the information sessions. We do plan to have follow up workshops to cover other topics in the future, perhaps while winding up this workshop we can ask participants for their views on other areas of potential interest.
