Update on Date and Venue.

So, George and I checked out Hotel Solitaire today and have blocked it for Sunday, 19th May.

Hotel Solitaire is on Kumar Krupa Road, centrally located, has decent parking (along Crescent Road) and most importantly fits our requirements in terms of rooms. We got two medium sized board rooms and one largish banquet hall from 9AM to 6PM on the day. We have asked them to provide lunch and coffee/tea + snacks twice during the day.

As a next step, we will work out the costing and get in touch with our commercial members to re-confirm participation before booking the venue. As indicated previously, there will be a small fee for participants too.

This event is open to non-members too, so do encourage other Hi-Fi enthusiasts to participate.

Sorry mate, 28-Apr was dropped since we could not find a venue in time for that day.

Also, considering we'll have outstation FMs travelling, we thought it good to provide atleast a month's notice so they can plan their pilgrimage well

Guys, do make a little effort to rope in other FMs you might know or who post here from time to time to also come and enjoy the event. Hemanth, Rahul, SajithCM, Maiden Trooper, sinister, Amit Shetty, doors 666,rajeshg_k23-do any of you guys have the time to come? Raghu?

Considering there time effort and cost that our 3 sponsors are investing, and the kind of gear that they are bringing, all attendees will definitely benefit from coming(IMHO). A turnout of at least 45+ should be a decent figure to shoot for-right now we have reached 27 and counting.
