Dear forum members,

A very good evening to all of you. I'm here to get the valuable suggestions/openions from all of you. I'm looking for a pair of floor standers with decent AVR. Budget is tight (max 50K).

Room area : 13x12 (living room)
AVR : Denon 1311
Speakers : Jamo C405/S606

Is this combination is good as per room size or some other suggestions.

Usage: Mostly DTH. On weekends movies and music

Thanks
Gaurav

Nope, not really VFM.

For the AVR, buy a Harman Kardon or Marantz receiver for like 20-30k.

The balance you can spend on either Polk TSI 300/400 or Wharf 9.5/9.4. The Polk may be better.

The total comes out to be like 45-60k.

For the room size FS may be an overkill. Please look for an AVR with 5.1 sub sat combo package .

There are some harmon kardon , Yamaha & mission and other package deals.

Or else you can go for Denon / Onkyo / Yamaha AVR with 5.1 speaker system from paradigm , energy classic , wharf moviestar or polk rm series.

Please audition the speakers first and then choose the avr/amp later to drive them.

hello folks,

my first post here.
I have a living room that measures abt 14X16 feet. i had called local dealer to have a look at the place and suggest me a home theater system. My requirement is for dth and weekend movies on dvd. the dealer suggests a denon dth 1311 sytem.
Firstly is this a good pick for the room size and requirement.
secondly he quotes Rs 43500/- for it with cabling and installation, thus is this a good price.
Please guide.
thanks
