So I have got couple of 2017 OLED TVs (55B7T and 55C7T). Both has issues passing Atmos Lossless Audio with HDR video using a new Xbox One S.
Below is what happens:
After update to 4.70.06,
1. Freezes Video while Playing 4k HDR10 Bluray with Atmos audio passthrough
2. Looses signal while playing HDR10 videos on Amazon Prime
3. No Audio while playing Atmos Audio through a PC (connected through GTX970 HDMI 2.0 output)
Both Xbox and PC have Dolby Access installed for Home-Theater (Only 2 modes are available HT and Headphones)
Tested using 3x HDMI 2.0 certified cables. All work fine on other TVs or probably earlier firmware on these TVs
Can anyone confirm having a 4k Player like Oppo BDP203 if Atmos (over Truehd) works okay on these TVs?
YouTube video (excuse my tired voice, recorded at 4:30AM after trying all options)
