Seems Marantz has joined the Media Player bandwagon.Looks like Divx can be played on it.Don't know if much of HD media is on DivX mode.

would be nice to see if they add this feature in their receiver

The UD5005 does not sound like a true media player or an NMT. It sounds more like a Blu-Ray player that has some media playing capabilities.
