Mounting speakers on ceiling

Can we suspend small bookshelf speakers on ceiling?

Any diagram will be appreciated so that carpenter can make it.

Metal fabrication would work better when suspending from ceiling. I have used a simple u bracket made in MS (gave the dimensions based on my speakers).I fixed the bracket on the ceiling) using anchor bolt. If you intended to suspend a few feet, consider fabricating using a hollow steel pipe to allow speaker cable to pass through... Woodwork might be clunky.

small false ceiling option will be better choice with mount or metal fabrication inside it , spec or model of speaker will can narrow down the options.

Why not make speakers shelves and place the speakers against the wall. Speakers can be suspended but it shall be tricky.
