Hi all,

This is the result of having free time @ your disposal :p

Decided to make a khichdi/paela of sorts.

Ingredients:

1) Phillips DVD Player (gathering dust as my Norge Combo is gone)

2) Phillips Micro (lying defunct in my bedroom due thanks to a couple of things being wrong with it - CDP Dead due to kaput lens & no buttons functioning properly due thanks to un use, thank God the remote works fine!)

3) 'Dead' pair of speaker cables i discovered lying in my tools cabinet. These must be really old! Copper has become black :indifferent14:

4) Generic RCA IC's (Junk)

5) My friends refurbed Arphi's Challengers turned into MTM's. This guy is so busy he has no time to even 'pee':p Seriously, he is neck deep in getting the new airport wing @ mumbai intl airport ready.

Now that the Norge set-up is gone, my folks now upset with me for letting go of them for no reason:cool: Heheheh now my mom is super pissed that there is no 'HT' set-up :D for watching her deadly hindi masala movies.

Swing into 'action' after a couple of 'Elephant Strong' 500ml cans ;) & conjure up the khichdi/paela - my my it tastes GOOD :licklips:

Sample of the madness in action (Cassette) :

Your Mom should actually be happy that you sold off the Norge setup.

Atleast now she wont have to put up with over the top volumes of your distinct taste in music which no mother would appreciate.

BTW
The MTM's are sounding very nice.

Denom, waiting for the youtube video to buffer on my pathetic net connection! But glad to know you are having fun with jugaad.

Flash,

The thing buggering her more is the arrival of the new speakers & their COST!!!
As for the music, all in the locality are used to my 'special' music & volumes

Dave,
Would love to know what u are buying .You seem to be very tight lipped ... will send you a PM..

And by the way. I think its not just your immediate locality. I was heading to bombay the other day and passed Navi mumbai highway. I heard someone play some tracks right up your alley . for all you know it could have been you playing your music at over the top volumes...:yahoo::yahoo:

I pity your poor mom. Do over her my condolences once you recieve your new gear :D

nice 'survivor mode' set-up ! :p
am too a bit of 'maiden maniac'. a video with 'the nomad' playing, please ?! :D

which's the other track ? sounds jolly good !

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
