I tried updating, my TV did not recognise the firmware in SD card.

Thanks, let me also try with USB port. Did you plug it in when the TV is running or it should be switched off/on with the drive ?

Can you please let me know if I missed anything.

Steps i followed..
1.Switch off TV.
2.Copied SDDL.sec file to sd card/pen drive.
3.plug in sd card/pen drive.
4.Switch on TV

Mate, it will not auto update the firmware post insertion of the SD card / USB drive, you will need to go to settings and manually select update firmware....

Switch on TV first, then plug in the card. I updated firmware yesterday... took about 7-8 minutes in total. First it downloads from card to TV, then asks you to switch off the TV and remove the card. Then switch on and wait while it auto-installs.

Could not notice any difference so far. The 2015 version does not play dts sound on mp4, i.e. same as 2014 version in that case.
