I just got a free panasonic HTiB, and it uses a proprietary port. It's a 5.1 system that plugs into a dvd player for a head unit, but the amplifier is built into the subwoofer, and all the satellite speakers plug into the sub as well. I have a Technics amp already and obviously don't want to use the dvd player as a head unit, especially since it only has stereo RCA inputs and not surround.

I would like to rewire the sub to accept RCA input, and use the satellite speakers with my amp. The model of the subwoofer is SB-WA520, I believe it uses the same proprietary plug as all the other panasonic HTiB sets. I have seen other people have this idea for their various panasonic systems in my hours of searching online, but nobody has given any answers.

Please help!
