Opinions on Quadral Argentum 520 speakers...

Hi guys,
Would love to know your opinion on this bookshelf speaker model. It seems to go well for rock, metal and sounds really good for music like retrowave synth and techno. It's above my initial planned budget of 20k max, getting a quote around 31k+, so I am still in the process of thinking about them. Since they are big, I might have to use a floor stands (which will cost me more money) as the probably will block out my OLED Tv view. Any recommendations and suggestions would be great!

Auditioned them with my Marantz PM8005 and dealers Roksan K3 not long ago. I would describe the sound as crisp. The budget/mid range of quadral is geared towards HT applications hence the pronounced upper range, but they are definitely large sounding. They are also not the easiest of loads with 4 ohm nominal impedance and 87db sensitivity so rather robust amplification is recommended.

I seriously doubt that. These speakers need Amp with 4 ohm rating. This is just the nominal impedance actual impedance will definitely swing below this in difficult musical passages.
