Panasonic Plasma vs Philips LED

Hi Guyz,

Help me out to Choose the one :sad:

I become Plasma fan after reading all the Threads under this session & I choose to go with Panny 42XT50. I never care'd about its bulky size or power consumption.
Suddenly I came across burn-in / IR issues in threads, which made me to scary & worry but still i have asked Google,To my horror many as reported the issues Major usage of TV will be as PC Monitor (Movies,Games & lots of surfing). 7 out 10 hour will be acting as monitor,To horror my present 22'' LCD runs from 9.00 to 22.00 on Sunday's hyeah: but on weekday nearly 5 hours a days sure i will be in trouble wit Burn-in & IR,Thus I made my mind to forget about the plasma & Go for LED

In my old days we had Samsung 21' CRT which was good for ages, as every Electronic items it too had start giving us troubles. During one of it's services i have learned the samsung TV too is runinng on Philips Circut & IC's even service man too also said that many TV brans are also runs on with philips,which made me to crash on philips. You guy wouldn't believe me i have DVD player , mp3 go, Iron BOX, Land line Phone even tubelights are from Philips - i am very happy with them & their product.

Due to above reason i have decided to go with Philips LED TV,after Long search selected 32PFL6577/V7 for purchase

Avoid plasma sets as with that kind of usage you will definitely get image burn-in, what is your budget?

42XT50 is 50K + any thing less then that , has plan to go for 40K.

For around 40K you can get Toshiba 40" LEDs.

You should go with LCD or LED.

go for sony lcds 40 inch at around 50k........
for a monitor use aviod plasma.
if budget constraint still wants a 40 inch can try gray market or dealer warranty online purchase.almost 30 percent less......

You can get samsung 40Eh5000 for 50k or sony 40Ex430 for 54-55k, if budget is less then get the LG 42LK450 for 37k.

I second the idea of Sony. They are pioneer in lcd & led TVs.
Panasonic is for Plasma.

Plasmas are not at all suitable for PC monitor usage. You better get LED/LCD for this purpose.

I think in India it is now marketed by Videocon group along with a host of those 2nd & 3rd rung brands like Akai, Sansui etc..

Not worth it, this is listed as dealer's warranty which means no samsung india warranty, so avoid.

noh.if want 32 incher go for sony hd redy/semi hd under 25k.....
for a 32 inch 3d or full hd is useless
otherwise if want 40 incher for less can buy from gray market
