Please suggest home theatre system under 6L

which speakers with 15" drivers will fit in this budget?
and subwoofer is not just to supplement bass for speakers but it also gives the user flexibility to place the subwoofer at the right position to get proper frequency response.

I personally prefer JBL 15inch sound. Beta3pro is reasonable enough in terms of its pricing.

If you are not hesitant to experimenting, please connect the active class D speakers to a tube amplifier. In all likelihood you will change your opinion. I agree to your point that out-of-the-box they are not very matured speakers but once you use a good tube preamplifiers using 12AU7 tube or 6SN7, these speakers with Class D amplifier seem to be from different world all together

How do you connect a preamp between avr which is preamplified and the active speaker? Having two preamp in the chain is recommended?

Having more than one preamplifier in the chain is not a problem. Final sound will have the characteristics of both the preamplifiers.

Also use of compressor will help you to make any Class D thick and dense sounding. And use of PEq or Equalizer will help you to give warmth to the sound. Also use of tube Pre-amplifier will add warmth and take away harshness of sound.
