Hi All,

I am first time buyer of any AVR & 5.1 speakers. Presently using SONY Hi-Fi system & happy with system. I am planning to update with Denon AVR X1100W. However I am confused while selection matching 5.1 speakers. Size of my leaving room is 18 feet length 12 feet width & 9 feet high (drawing attached for ready reference). Two sides of 18 feet are walls. One side of 12 feet are French windows & one side is wall & Tile Flooring.

My user pattern will be 80% Indian Classical Music Instrumental & vocal balance 20% will be Movies.

Selected two configurations as under.:

1. Polk TSX 440T for Fronts + Polk TSX 250 for Center + Polk TSX 220 for Surround + Polk PSW 125 Sub

2. Polk TSX 550T for Fronts + Polk TSX 250 for Center + Polk TSX 220 for Surround + Polk PSW 125 Sub

Request all to comment on the selection else suggest some options in the same price range please.
Thanks in advance !!!

Both Selections are very good in my opinion. You could see which between the 440T and 550T has better sensitivity and choose accordingly. A suggestion for slight improvement in the Sub Woofer, since you have gone for the Bigger Floor Standing units from the Polk line: why not go for the Polk DSW PRO660Wi?. Its has a clean Bass thump.
