Quality difference bw 1080p source vs 4k source on a faux 4k projector like Epson TW 9400 etc?

So, people with faux 4k projectors, can you notice any difference bw watching a movie in 4k vs 1080p streaming from netflix/youtube? What about bluray disk players 1080p vs 4k? In the end projector only processes 1080p and makes 4 copies of same to give 4k output on screen. So, can you notice the difference?

With Full HD projector itself i could make difference from Real 4K content (downloaded content) and full HD movies. I think watching it in 4K projectors will definitely make huge difference.
