Rare Find - Pioneer PL-15 TT & Pioneer CS-15 Spks

Stevieboy, Sachin & Reuben: Thanks guys, will post some pics this weekend.

Congrats Santhosh. Next time you need belts, go to local electronic shop and get a packet of assorted belts of all sizes and shapes. From a material stand point, there is very little difference from what you buy on eBay and here. Original NOS stock does not mean much for these rubber items. Newer the better.
Thanks Anil, while I checked in Industrial spare shops who specialise in belts, O-rings etc, I missed checking in electronic shops in S.P.Road. The one that Hiten and I ordered was a reproduction belt made to specific size(s). Absolutely right, rubber becomes brittle over the years.

Made another addition to my vintage system - Marantz CD94. I received my Marantz CD94 which was stuck with customs for over a month. I must say it is a huge leap in performance over my Marantz CD63SE. It is built like a tank, very heavy for a CDP - the transport section is die cast aluminium and uses the Philips CDM1 mechanism. The DAC section is the Philips 1541 NOS chip. The good components and the build quality clearly shows in the way it sounds. This CDP has a tight grip over the music, something that I had never heard in my system on CD. The best part is that it has a very flat frequency response and sounds very analog and thus very easy on my ears. Very smooth highs (CD63SE was bright), natural mids and an amazing bass that I had only heard in LPs for the same tracks.

Definitely worth the long wait not to mention the ordeal I went through :)
