RCA audio instead of Coaxial cable?

Tell me, if i use RCA audio (single cable ) in place of Coaxial cable for connecting DVD/STB to A/V receiver. Will there by any impact on quality of Sound?

Yes, no issue.. I have even used 3.5mm or any other makeshift cables, they always performed well if well connected... no difference..
