Hey..

Its the time of the year again where people tend to spend money to buy new things during the festive season. Even am looking to own a Yamaha YHT-299 during this festive season. Just wondering if anybody has an idea as to when will Reliance digital come out with offers for the season? waiting on it to purchase one. Hopefully they will have some stocks in their shop/warehouse

Hi,

There is no fixed time, if there is a Reliance near you, go personally and check...

You can also check online on their website for offers.

Every store manager has some approvals to extend discount even in off-season. If you are serious about a purchase and bargain hard; what I have see in most cases is that the discount provided in off-season is probably 2-3 lesser than discount received during festival season. But the higher discount would be on hiked prices !!!

The discounts available online are very less compared to what you would get in the real store. Poor sales guys have targets to meet (whether it is festive season or not) and are more approachable. Walk into the demo rooms (which would usually be defunct) and pick the models you want. Flaunt your wallet without opening it and it usually works!!! I recall Reliance selling Jamo S-426 at least 5K lesser than HT stores (this is Bangalore; might not be true everywhere).

Also, retail stores have a difficult time in pushing HTiBs/ AVR as compared to consumer 5.1 systems. So, hone your bargaining skills and hit the stores. Just mention the rival store's name and tell that they are willing to part away 3-5% more discount.
