Very good news and I can see the old Sansui Logo...are they still under the Grande Group.........

Will need to wait and watch. There was a purpose and reason behind the old sansui label. Unless we know who is behind the current label and their intentions, we can never say for sure. The casing of the gear looks purposeful though.

Yep somebody has definitely taken over and is pulling the old "we can do it better" routine ...

It was very ironic that from the mid 1970's, Sansui's absolute commitment toward quality and technologies started deteriorating, and by the mid 1980's, Sansui management was totally confused with the company philosophy and its brand strategy. That confusion was one of the main reasons why Sansui was forced to give up its independence by 1989. However, the reality is that today's high-end audio is still dominated by tube equipment, and more and more people are discovering the incredible sound of tube amplifiers compared with that from today's most advanced semiconductor amplifiers.

One of the reasons often cited for the fall of Sansui was the rising Yen which made it uneconomical for Sansui to make high quality gear. They started compromising on quality to keep cost in check but their products bombed in the market place. A Catch 22 situation from which they never really recovered. Sad.
