Schiit Yggdrasil closed form DAC

Bumping an old thread.

Has anyone heard the yggy and mind sharing their thoughts? Looking for an upgrade, but unless I can have a listen it will have to be a blind purchase like most Schiit stuff.

It sounds cohesive with very good detail retrieval and presentation.

Thanks, mind sharing the rest of the equipment and the chain that you heard it on.

The Yggdrasil is an overkill as the rest of my chain will remain the same for some time, but hopefully I can do justice with a speaker and amp upgrade down the line.
